About Basements by Bek
Basements by Bek is a family-owned business, founded by John and Letyce Moore. Many people often inquire about the origin of our name; BEK is derived from the initials of our three children.
While Basements by Bek was officially established in 2021, we have been active in the industry since 2009. Originally starting as a small painting company, we gradually expanded our services to full-scale remodeling. After completing our first basement project, we discovered our true passion and decided to specialize in basement renovations. Since then, we have successfully completed over 25 basement projects.
Meet the Owners
John and Letyce Moore are the proud owners of Basements by Bek. John’s journey in the construction industry began in his teenage years when he worked for a family member’s painting business. With an art background and a keen eye for layout and design, John combines his creative vision with extensive construction knowledge to bring those ideas to life.
Letyce serves as your primary point of contact at Basements by Bek. With a business degree and a background in sales, marketing, and customer service, Letyce has developed a deep understanding of the construction industry over the course of her 25+ years with John. She is well-equipped to answer any questions you may have about your project.
Our Process and Approach
John personally oversees the start and finish of each basement project, while trusted subcontractors handle the various stages in between. What sets us apart from other companies is our consistent use of the same subcontractors on every project. This ensures the highest level of quality and continuity in the work we deliver.
We provide a detailed, written estimate at the time of your scheduled consultation. Our projects are typically completed within two months, with the majority finished in approximately six weeks, ensuring efficiency without compromising on quality.
